The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J. A. Powell replaced L.F. Roche on Arizona Star, trained by Peter McCreery (Race 4)(Injured)

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn for home involving Darius Dark, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, unplaced, Fits Perfect, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, unplaced, and Star Chamber (GB), ridden by J. Kearney, unplaced, where it appeared Fits Perfect ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. N. G. McCullagh stated that his mount was green and hung in on the point of the bend. D. P. McDonogh stated that his race was run when he got tight for room and was unable to hold his position. J. Kearney stated that the horse on his outer leaned in on him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

N.G. McCullagh, rider of Darius Dark, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left for the last three furlongs.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Ex Animo, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around when it hit the front.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed R.P. Whelan, rider of Ex Animo, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that his mount jumped well and went left but he had a look and was clear. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that R. P. Whelan was in breach of Rule 211 and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended R. P. Whelan for one raceday.

322G Irish Stallion Farms EBF Nursery H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving River Ara, ridden by J. Cleary, placed first, and Iamimmaculate, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, placed second, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. Cleary stated that his mount idled and rolled around in front. J. M. Sheridan stated that there was a minor bump but it made no difference to his finishing position. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

J. Cleary, rider of River Ara, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around in the straight.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Iamimmaculate, trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left from the gates and rolled around in the straight.
